MUCU Student Package

At MUCU we want to make your banking life as simple as possible so you can enjoy University life.

Full time tertiary students can enjoy all the benefits of MUCU’s Student Package. With assignments, friends, family and possibly work to juggle the last thing you need to worry about is sorting out your banking.

When you open a MUCU Student account here is what you get:

  • A Transaction account with NO monthly account keeping fees.
  • A Redicard that gives you access to ATM’s & EFTPOS Australia wide. Best of all you can use your card at ANY ATM from ANY bank, which means you don’t have to spend half the day looking for that special ATM. You get 20 free transactions per calendar month then $1 per transaction after that.
  • Internet Banking for 24 hr access to your accounts to pay bills via Bpay, check balances or transfer money.
  • Unlimited in branch transactions. MUCU is conveniently located on the Parkville Campus in the Old Geology South Building just 50 meters down from the Swanston St main tram terminal. Opening hours are 9.30 to 4.30 Monday to Friday.
  • The option of a Prepaid VISA card. This may be the best type of card going around at the moment. Only transfer to the card what you plan to spend then spend away. It’s not linked directly to your account like a VISA debit card so the bad guys can’t take all your savings if they get your card details. Another great feature is anyone can deposit money directly into the card using Bpay from any account anywhere in Australia.
